MR. AMOS STONE May 24, 1956

Mr. Amos Stone, age 66, of 47300 Dequindre Road, Shelby Township, died
Thursday night at Martha T. Berry Hospital, Mt. Clemens. He was born in
Midland County, April 14, 1890, a son of the late John and Lillian
Samson Stone. He was married to Gladys Snell May 17, 1915. She preceded
him in death in 1948. Mr. Stone was a farmer most of his life. 

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Bessie Schroeder, Utica; one son Thomas
of Port Huron; one brother, Thomas Stone, Holly, Michigan; three
sisters, Mrs. Jennie Scott, Brown City; Mrs. Anna Garrat and Mrs. Lila
Conway, both of New York; and six grand children. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 o'clock Monday morning at the
Milliken Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Kuck officiating. Burial will be
in the Caro cemetery. Caro, Michigan.
